OF THE PROJECT

EPIC for Container Terminal (Berth No. 7) At Mesaieed Port.

ECAP staff coordinated the engineering works, by working in coordination with the international design companies and suppliers as ABB and Hyundai. Project consists of the design verification and detailed design of 485m long quay wall and following item; Demolition of existing caisson structures at the transition to the existing Berth 6, Dredging of trench for rock foundation under new Berths 7A and 7B, To lengthen the quaywall from temporary berth 7 by 345 meter to form a 485metre long quay wall including rock foundation, scour protection, quay furniture, Reconstruction of existing Emergency Fire water Intake with intake and discharge pipe to be extended through the new Berth 7A quay wall, Crane beam and crane tracks for container ship-to-shore (STS) cranes at Berths 7A and 7B, electrical works, buildings.
