Project consists of surveying works, preliminary designs and cost estimates for a Coal Harbor of a Power
Geophysical Seismic Reflection Survey
Met-Ocean Conditions Report
Conceptual Planning Report for several Port Layouts (Including 8 Port Layout Alternatives with
different Berthing Capacities and Typical Sections for Breakwater are studied within this study)
Budgetary Cost Estimation for Construction and Equipment
Scope of Work Includes:
A 350m long Berth for up to 50,000 DWT Vessels will be constructed in the 1st Phase. The Berth
Structure will be constructed for safe Berthing of up to 150,000 DWT Vessels. There will be one
unloader crane and a single conveyor line at a capacity of 1,500 t/hr.
During the 2nd Phase, the Port basin and the approach channel will be dredged to – 18.40m to allow
berthing of 150,000 DWT Vessels. The estimated dredging works is app. 2,175,000 m3. The length
of the berth will be extended to 500m to allow Berthing of two small vessels simultaneously.
